FLAVOR: Pepper. Bacon. Asparagus. Caramel. Raisin. Plum. Burnt. Mineral. Dark Fruits.
PROFILE: Complex. Balanced. Smooth Mouthfeel. Medium Body. Light Tannin. Medium Finish.
COMMENTS: An excellent and complex wine. The wine seemed to be still quite youthful with loads of fruit and a peppery note. (probably because it was from a magnum)

COMMENTS: Light garnet, slight brick, light rim, fat tears. Extremely mature fruity nose, decadent, bit resinous - very attractive. Medium body, lots of tannins, however tartish dominated. Finish velvety acidity.
Score: 50 + 3 for optic + 15 for bouquet + 16 for taste + 6 for overall = total score of 90.

Hermitage tasting Graz. Single blind. Decanted shortly before tasting. Wine Star Chardonnay glass, comparable to an ISO standard tasting glass.
