Had this one on 12/31/03. It took hours for this wine to begin to open up, and it still was not ready but the lamb was. The Latour is a monster wine with tons of fruit that still overpowers so many of the subtle flavors in the wine. It will clearly evolve into a more refined monster as the years pass, but it will never turn into an elegant wine. Classic Latour.
