| COMMENTS: |
Slightly dusty light ruby, dense tears. Earthy dark nose, bit alcoholic. Medium body, soft velvety fruity acidity, bit coarse tannins. Very long finish, velvety tartish mouth impregnating.
Also a very good match with the ribbon noodles.
No chance for me to recognize the vintage difference. May be a slightly off bottle.
Score: 50 + 3 for optic + 13 for bouquet + 17 for taste + 8 for overall = total score of 91.

(not blind): Dark garnet, bright, fat tears. Candied almonds, moss, dark earth, mineralic, slightly decadent undertone - very nice nose alltogether. Medium body, some bright fruit, crisp acidity, silky tannins, very well balanced. Finish long, soft acidity, silky tannins, end of aftertaste echo of Belon oyster. Score: 50 + 4 for optic + 14 for bouquet + 18 for taste + 9 for overall = total score of 95. This was a pristine bottle.

(not blind): Dark garnet, translucent, fine tears. Cool mineralic nose, moss, sweet tar, liquorice. Medium body, extremely well balanced, very fine silky acidity, very fine smoky tannins. Long. Score: 50 + 4 for optic + 14 for bouquet + 18 for taste + 8 for overall = total score of 94.

(not blind): Brilliant garnet, light rim, dense tears. Multilayered nose with minerals, fruits, earth and other aromatic tones. Medium to plump body, bit of Kirsch, very well balanced, some tannins, some fruit, some acidity - you name it. Velvety silky aftertaste, long, satisfying. Score: 50 + 3 for optic + 15 for bouquet + 18 for taste + 8 for overall = total score of 94. I like this wine.
