1999 Michel Ogier - La Belle Helene
(France / Rhone / Northern Rhone / Cote-Rotie)
RATED: 10/01/2003
COMMENTS: (not blind): Black purple, dense tears tint the glass. Dark fruit, resinous, oaky, bit sweet. Full body, good structure, strong acidity, intense tannins, dark fruit, well balanced. Finish very long. Score: 50 + 5 for optic + 14 for bouquet + 18 for taste + 8 for potential = total score of 95.

Echo of Mordoree CdP Reine des Bois 1998. New style Cote Rotie with massive fruit, lots of new oak and very concentrated?
