COMMENTS: Brilliant powerful garnet, fine tears. Bit fat dark berries in the nose, ocean in the air. Plump body, bit fat dark fruit, intense velvety tannins. Very long, powerful velvety smoky. Score: 50 + 4 for optic + 13 for bouquet + 18 for taste + 8 for overall = total score of 93.

Details: Single blind. Decanted 4 hours before tasting. Riedel Bordeaux glass.

COMMENTS: (single blind): Light brilliant ruby, fine tears. Cool moss, dark fruit and liquorice in the nose. Plump body, decent dark fruit, fine acidity spine, velvety tannins. Long aftertaste, velvety tannins over silky acidity, mouth impregnating. Great wine. Score: 50 + 4 for optic + 14 for bouquet + 19 for taste + 9 for overall = total score of 96.
