Tasted on 9.7.04 alongside a 1996 Lokoya "Diamond Mountain" at Sonoma Bistro in Charlotte where it was on the menu for $125.
The 2002 Integrity is my second favorite Shiraz of all time, only slightly nudged out by the 2001 Run Rig.
Inky purple in color, with a nose that smelled exactly like melted Currant Jelly! Taste of cassis and blackberries. Still young and tight, extended decant times help bring it around, but great potential for the future.
