| COMMENTS: |
(single blind): Brilliant medium garnet, fine tears, tints slightly the glass. Very decent vegetative stink, liquorice, lovage. Medium body, acidity, fruit and tannins very well balanced, elegant. Velvety finish, long. Score: 50 + 3 for optic + 14 for bouquet + 18 for taste + 8 for overall = total score of 93.
Had this last time Dec 2003 with more decanting time and a slightly higher score. Missed this time the "obvious truffle note". This means that this wine benefits from decanting - good to know.

| COMMENTS: |
(single blind): Brilliant garnet, fine tears. Bit perfumed nose, obvious truffle note, gets over time in the glass less impressive. Plump body, intense fruit, tannins and acidity well balanced, good grip. Long finish, soft tannins. Score: 50 + 3 for optic + 15 for bouquet + 19 for taste + 8 for overall = total score of 95.
