COMMENTS: Sampled 8/31/04. This wine is more Burgundian than Californian. The wine is a wonderful layering of sweet citrus and melons with hints of butterscotch and to a lesser extent minerals. The alcohol/acid balance is very good and this wine should last for some time, although it is very enjoyable now.
