| COMMENTS: |
I tasted this at a dinner and do not have complete notes:
Appearance: clear, medium intensity, tawny color
Nose: dusty, cherry fruit, tobacco, hint of bell pepper, powerful nose, bit of graphite
Palate: dry, medium high acidity, strong but soft tannins, cherries, dried cherries, lively acidity. Had a dried cherry sweetness to it. The finish is extremely velvety, especially on the mid-palate. The bottle was well kept in a cellar.

| COMMENTS: |
(single blind): Brown ruby, bit cloudy, high viscosity. Soy sauce, lovage, cooking spices. Medium body, tartish fruit, bit chemical. Finish tartish mouth impregnating. Score: 50 + 2 for optic + 13 for bouquet + 15 for taste + 6 for overall = total score of 86. This was a damaged bottle of suspect origin. Must have been stored for years standing on a shelf in a kitchen at "room" temperature.
