Inky dark purple. Sensual aroma of cassis, black raspberry, mint, charred oak, licorice, chocolate, graphite, earth, leather, vanilla, violet, toast. Semi-sweet. Full body. Medium tannins. Long finish. Jam on toast, but in a garden with all sorts of noshy bits around. Opens up nicely in about an hour or so. Succulent beyond belief, and an aroma to die for. Concentrated, intense, black to the core, and extraordinarily decadent. Outstanding Shiraz.
