Medium ruby, bright, high viscosity, no sediment. Sweet red fruit in the nose, bit primary and young. Medium to plump body, primary red fruit, good acidity and intense tannins, very dry. Long finish, some acidity, very dry tannins, slightly burning aftertaste.
Score: 50 + 4 for optic + 13 for bouquet + 17 for taste + 8 for overall = total score of 92.
Not blind. Decanted shortly before drinking. Small ISO standard tasting glass. Bottle count reduced by one.

(single blind): Brilliant garnet, dense tears. Beautiful Grenache (= similar to a very fine PN) nose. Medium body, acidity and tannins very well balanced, good spine. Long finish, fine velvety acidity. Score: 50 + 3 for optic + 15 for nose + 18 for taste + 9 for overall = total score of 95.
My tip for this wine was Pegau (which I missed in this tasting because it was corked). I know I am a bit high with my score here but this has to have something to do with personal preferences.
