Sampled 12/31/04. After decanting for a couple hours, this Merlot dominated wine started opening up with ripe blueberries and blackberries, spice, and earthtones constantly revolving on themselves for a complex and highly entertaining wine that any wine lover can appreciate and savor. For those wine drinkers that don`t understand what layering and complexity mean, this wine is the easy exemplar to learn from.
