(not blind): Medium purple, brilliant, dense tears, tints the glass. Slight barnyard, very soft very dark fruit, roasted cacao beans, fine toast. Medium to full body, very well balanced, rather soft, sweet but intense tannins, bit fat. Finish very soft, fine tannins, bit mouth impregnating. Score: 50 + 5 for optic + 14 for bouquet + 8 for taste +
8 for overall = total score of 95.
This wine shows definitely no sediment - amazing compared with the 2000 vintage with already a heavy amount of sediment.
