I had this wine in direct comparison with a young Austrian red and it showed clear signs of ripeness.

COMMENTS: (not blind): Had a glass of this wine from an one day open bottle and this was already rather oxidised in bouquet and tired, flat and no longer fresh in taste. This seems a bit too fast for me and means: Open the bottle and drink it fast. No score.

COMMENTS: (not blind, not decanted): Dark ruby, light rim, bright, dense tears. Dark berries, vanilla, toast dark chocolate in the nose. Medium body, beautiful fruit, very balanced. Medium finish, in the end some acidity with a bit metallic note, but no problem (besides 7 instead of 8 for overall). So far the very best bottle of this wine.

Score: 50 + 4 for optic + 14 for bouquet + 18 for taste + 7 for overall = total score of 93.
