reconditioned at the Chateau in 1994. Very velvety and smooth and caressing like a velvet. Much thicker body then the typical lafite. Rose pedal like aromas with some earthy tones but restrain and classy. Complexity is not its strength but it is all about elegence. Very very well balance with a good finish.

Powerful garnet, dense tears, very bright. Very soft dark berries, primary fruity nose, some spearmint, hint of cabbage. Medium body, strong acidity, bit fat dark fruit. Long finish, velvety acidity. Score: 50 + 4 for optic + 13 for bouquet + 18 for taste + 8 for overall = total score of 93.
Details: Single blind. Decanted shortly before tasting. Riedel Bordeaux glass.

(single blind): Powerful garnet, dense tears, bright. Very soft nose with dark berries, hint of peppermint, primary fruit, some spices. Medium body, powerful acidity, bit fat dark fruit. Finish long, velvety acidity. Score: 50 + 4 for optic + 13 for bouquet + 18 for taste + 8 for overall = total score of 93.
