| COMMENTS: |
Sampled 12/31/04. Decanted for 4.5 hours, but might have required 4.5 days. This incredibly young wine that is nearly black needs another 5 to 10 years before another bottle is opened. It never opened up and only the hints of its highly extracted fruit could be discerned. You know this wine is going to be incedible, but patience is required.

| COMMENTS: |
(single blind): Dark ruby, dense tears, tints a bit the glass. Classical oaky nose, dark fruit, liquorice. Medium to plump body, light toast, good acidity, bit short. Finish fine smoky acidity. Score: 50 + 4 for optic + 13 for bouquet + 17 for taste + 7 for overall = total score of 91.
