1990 Antinori - Solaia
(Italy / Central / Tuscany)
RATED: 12/31/2004
COMMENTS: Sampled 12/31/04. Decanted for 4.5 hours, but might have required 4.5 days. This incredibly young wine that is nearly black needs another 5 to 10 years before another bottle is opened. It never opened up and only the hints of its highly extracted fruit could be discerned. You know this wine is going to be incedible, but patience is required.
