ALCOHOL: 12.5%
RATED: 11/01/2003
COMMENTS: (single blind): Black purple, small bubbles in the rim, tints the glass, fat tears. Rather cool nose, decent lemon scent, roasted coffee beans, silky - after some time in the glass hint of tar and dark fruit. Plump (medium to full) body, very well balanced, hint of acidity, fine fruit. Very long aftertaste, velvety acidity, bit impregnating, aftertaste sensation concentrated on tip of the tongue. Score: 50 + 4 for optic + 15 for bouqet + 18 for taste + 9 for overall = total score of 96.
