2007 Jacob's creek 2007 Chardonnay - johann gramp
(Australia / South Australia / Barossa Valley)
RATED: 03/30/2009
COMMENTS: This is brillant yellow white wine. We can feel pineapple, banana and an oak wood flavor. It has a typical nose of chardonnay. In mouth, it has a good roudness, a medium body and a good richness. The after taste is not charcteristic of chardonnay, we feel much more bitterness.

2007 Jacob's creek 2007 Chardonnay - johann gramp
(Australia / South Australia / Barossa Valley)
RATED: 03/28/2009
COMMENTS: This wine has a pale golden yellow colour.
Its smell is more fruity than most of Chardonnay, thanks to the Australian sun. The mix of alcohol and oak wood fragrances is delightful.
In the mouth, you immediately feel an acid attack, which tastes like lemon. But then, the wine reveals its supplness and its bitterness. This bitterness may come from the way the grapes are crushed, pretty hardly.
Finally, this particular wine is full in the mouth and full bodied.
