(France / Burgundy / Cote de Beaune / Beaune)
ALCOHOL: 13.5%
RATED: 03/30/2009
COMMENTS: This wine has a light pale brick red robe. The smell is fruity first (there is somthing that reminds of Amaretto cherries) and then become a little animal, with leather or fur aromas. The attack is very light, but it becomes quickly full bodied and velvety, and it has a delicious spicy after-taste with cinnamon and clove flavors. The best about this wine? The more you drink it, the more you like it, so don't be afraid to take another glass.

COMMENTS: This bright wine has a medium brick red colour.
It has a very complex smell; There isn't oaky flavour like many wines. We can feel leather or fur of animal odors; in french we say :"Les vieux Bourgognes renardent".
More we taste this wine more it is better in mouth. This particularity is linked to the soil of burgundy with his Pinot Noir. After one or two slips, it is a velvety perception : this wine is full body. The perception of this wine becomes more parfumed. We can also feel a certain lively biterness in the end.
It is perfect to drink this wine with duck!!

COMMENTS: This wine has a medium red brick colour.
It has a spicy odour, that reminds clove. it is a very elegant nose because of the complexity of scents. We can find a bit of animal fur in the smell, which is not very surprising for a wine from Burgundy.
In mouth, it has a lively attack and then a velvety evolution that cought the pallet. It is a very long wine with a cinnamon and clove after-taste.
It has all caracteristic of a Pinot Noir : not very tannic, no oaky flavour ; long and velvety.
It is very surprising the first time you taste it but the more you drink it, the better it tastes!
Great with duck or with peaches.

COMMENTS: this wonderful wine is a pinot noir from burgundi (france).
As soon as you uncork the bottle, a full, rich and complex bouquet explodes and is caught by your nose.
The color in the glass looks like a red brick.
The taste begin with a lively attack, then the rich full body with spicy aromas takes hold of your mouth. It coats the palate.
At the end, the wine reveals a kind of bitterness taste.
Moreover, you will feel an aftertaste which is well balanced between acidity and bitterness
You don't need anything to eat with this wine in order to appreciate all of the flavor and the richness.
Very good wine.
