COMMENTS: TAPIZ Reserva 2008 Argentina.

This pale yellow colored wine has wonderful peach, citrus and apple aromas. The peach flavour can be tasted after the first sip, when you are used to the light acidity.

This is a light, refreshing , medium-bodied wine, very well balanced between fruitiness and roundness.

However, I quite dislike the evolution, which gives a heat impression in mouth. It has too much alcohol feeling for me.

COMMENTS: First of all, it was very unusual for me taste a foreign wine. However, I was suprised to discover that I liked this wine better than the previous Chadonnay I tasted, a french St Aubin 2005. This wine is the same pale yellow as the french one but its peach and lemon aromas and flavours are much more pleasant from my point of view than those of pepper and caramel I experienced when tasting the St Aubin. This wine therefore has a nice fruity taste and is perfectly balanced between livelyness and mellowness, roundness and freshness. It has, however, a quite alcoholic mouthfeel which produces a slight heating sensation in the mouth.

COMMENTS: This wine has a medium pleasant smell of oak wood, with a little bit odor of coconut and vanilla. We can classify this wine between the light and the medium body wines. In mouth, he has a refreshing attack and then a fruity taste which contributes to give its roundness. This wine is very interesting and characteristic because we can distinguish 3 steps during the tasting cession. We feel the freshness first, and then the roundness given by the degree of alcohol (14°). At the end, the fruityness appears and permits the balance with the freshness and roundness.
It is an easy to drink wine.
