2001 Louis Jadot - Mazis-Chambertin
(France / Burgundy / Cote de Nuits / Gevrey-Chambertin)
RATED: 10/01/2004
COMMENTS: Light transparent ruby, light rim, dense tears. Restrained dark cool nose, not very expressive, clean. Medium body, prominent tannins, some slightly rotten red fruit behind, good acidity. Finish fine smoky mouth impregnating, persistent. Good but not excellent match with partridge on red lentils.

Score: 50 + 3 for optic + 13 for bouquet + 17 for taste + 8 for overall = total score of 91.

Coburg 20041007. Not blind. Not decanted. Riedel Burgundy glass.
