COMMENTS: Watery gold yellow, brilliant, medium tears. Floral note in the nose, hint of petrol. Medium body, bit fat, decent smoky tannins, mouth coating acidity. Finish velvety acidity. Very fine match with turbot with curry sauce.

Score: 50 + 3 for optic + 13 for bouquet + 17 for taste + 7 for overall = total score of 90.

Coburg 20041007. Not blind. Decanted shortly before tasting. Riedel Burgundy glass.
