| COMMENTS: |
Silver Oaks Napa Valley Cab is overpriced. The wine has a nice aroma of cassis, cocca, and dark berry. The palate is a well balanced and full bodied combination of licorice, vanilla, and almounds. The finish, however, is extremely abrupt. I would NEVER pay $120 for a wine that does not last 10 seconds in the mouth. Given its structure, however, it is likely that the tannins and complexity will improve over time.
