RATED: 05/01/2002
COMMENTS: Brilliant ruby, dense tears. Alcoholic fruity nose, Wachau apricots (very specific aromas due to the micro climate here). Full body, perfect balance, cacao. Very long finish, persistent sweet tannins. Nearly a perfect wine.

Score: 50 + 4 for optic + 15 for bouquet + 19 for taste + 9 for overall = total score of 97.
