COMMENTS: Brilliant garnet, medium tears. Cool velvety dark fruity nose, attractive, classic Bordeaux, lead pencil. Medium body, bit soft, dark chocolate, some fruit, low acidity, powerful tannins. Long velvety finish. Score: 50 + 3 for optic + 14 for bouquet + 17 for taste + 8 for overall = total score of 92.

Details: Single blind. Decanted shortly before tasting. Riedel Bordeaux glass.

COMMENTS: (single blind): Light bright garnet, brilliant, fat tears. Coffee and tar in the nose, fine. Medium body, well balanced, very fine, silky. Medium finish, soft, short. Score: 50 + 3 for optic + 14 for bouquet + 18 for taste + 6 for overall = total score of 91.

The finish is less than impressive, otherwise a fine wine.
