COMMENTS: (single blind): Brilliant purple, nice tears. Soft an cool nose, bit sweet fruit. Full to medium body, sweet fruit, some liquorice. Finish long with coriander (soapy). Score: 50 + 4 for optic + 14 for bouquet + 18 for taste + 6 for overall = total score of 92.

For me the 1989 seems rather mature and very approachable.

COMMENTS: (not blind): Brilliant ruby, tints the glass. Powerful dark berries in the nose, ascending alcohol. Plump body, dark berries, finesse. Velvety fruit in the aftertaste. Score: 50 + 4 for optic + 14 for bouquet + 18 for taste + 8 for overall = total score of 94.
