Yes, this is an excellent wine, no doubt. But once you've had the 1998, this just won't do. It's a paled version in all respects...same characters for the most part, just attenuated. It beats its vintage bell curve by a few points, but there's not much point in investing; put your money in the '98 and be a far happier person.
