2002 Torbreck - Juveniles
(Australia / South Australia / Barossa Valley)
RATED: 06/16/2004
COMMENTS: Medium to dark reddish-purple. Aroma of cherry, cranberry, raspberry, plum, leaves/grass, flowers, hints of graphite and tobacco. Medium to full body. Semi-dry. Medium tannins. Medium to long finish. A nice fruit-bomby type of wine with surprisingly exquisite mouthfeel and balance. Looking forward to trying some of Torbreck's other reds...if an unoaked GSM can impress me this much, I expect I'll love an aged Shiraz.
