Dark ruby, very dense tears, strong sediment. Medium barnyard, dark and red fruit, honey comb. Medium body, very good acidity, mature fruit, soft but firm tannins, very well balanced. Long finish. Surprising good match with different kind of cheese.
Score : 50 + 4 for optic + 14 for bouquet + 18 for taste + 8 for overall = total score of 94.
Not blind. Decanted shortly before drinking. Small ISO standard tasting glass. Bottle count reduced by one.

Medium to light ruby, bright, fat tears, fine sediment baked inside the bottle, partly floating in the wine. Bit of barnyard, decent but persistent dark fruit, honey comb. Medium body, bit spiky fruit, bitter sweet, fine acidity, soft tannins, well balanced. Good match with dried figs.
Score: 50 + 4 for optic + 13 for bouquet + 17 for taste + 8 for overall = total score of 92.
Not blind. Decanted shortly before tasting. Small ISO standard tasting glass.

Medium to light ruby, light brick rim, fat tears, strong sediment. Trace of barnyard, fine dark and red fruit, honey comb. Medium body, secondary bit spiky fruit, fine acidity and soft tannins, very well balanced. This gets on top now.
Score: 50 + 4 for optic + 13 for bouquet + 17 for taste + 8 for overall = total score of 92.
Not blind. Decanted shortly before tasting - would benefit from extended decanting. Schott Zwiesel red wine glass.

(not blind): Dark ruby, very dense tears, strong sediment. Slight barnyard, some dark fruit. Medium to full body, very well balanced, some fruit with crisp acidity, soft tannins. Very nice and long finish. Score: 50 + 4 for optic + 12 for bouquet + 18 for taste + 8 for overall = total score of 92.
Dinner with friends in the garden, BBQ-style food without looking for a match, stemware not really ideal for tasting especially concerning bouquet, decanted for 2 hours, note from memory. Was served a bit too warm and seemed therefore a bit flat.

(not blind): Ruby color, but already a bit light, very dense tears, strong sediment but not baked. Slight decent barnyard, dark and red fruit, honey comb. Medium body, very well balanced, resolved fruit, soft tannins. Very nice and long finish. Score: 50 + 4 for optic + 14 for bouquet + 18 for taste + 8 for overall = total score of 94.
Double decanted back into the bottle for eliminating sediment. This wine is a beauty now (some years ago it seemed nearly undrinkable to me but this has changed drastically).
