Brownish-purple in hue, the wine displays the look of old, but extracted, pinot noir. Aromas of dark fruits, raisins and fig. It the mouth, this tastes like you are drinking a fig newton... lots of old fruit. Tannins a bit disjointed and I don't think they will ever resolve. This wine is also a bit 'fat.'
