100% Monastrell (morvedre)
deep garnet-ruby, intense youthful nose, little meaty, graphite, some savory spices, some smokiness, baking spices as well, black cherry. Some toastiness or toasted nut on the nose
Big, lush and chewy dark fruit, minty eucaylptis finish, big tannins, well rounded, this wine flows, moderate finish (a little bitter leaf), more pencil lead shavings...this wine is begging for some lamb or venison. Little mocha or spicy chocolate. Firm tannins. Thick and chewy, chewy, chewy. Globs of black fruit. Some licorice.
Lots going on in this wine. For the price, this wine is top notch. Great Spanish bargin
**wine tasted 8 hours after cork pooped...was brighter and smoother earlier**
