Silver Oak's Sonoma offering from a great CA vintage. Starting out strong, the wine quickly shut down. All that was left in the glass tasted tart and astringent with nuances of rough fruits and leather. I still have trouble understanding this winery's popularity with so many other better CA cabs at lower prices.
