1994 Chateau Haut-Brion
(France / Bordeaux / Pessac-Leognan)
RATED: 02/10/2006
COMMENTS: very high quality, top-class, noble and generous flavors and aromas. you will find aromas that are perfectely combined with big complexety as for inst; coffee, black berry, smoked aromas but in a tender, delicate and sensitive way. You could add some mineral aroms but difficult for me to identify.
This is a wine for special occasions with special people...
enjoy this "merveille"

1994 Chateau Haut-Brion
(France / Bordeaux / Pessac-Leognan)
RATED: 02/08/2006
COMMENTS: International high class wine. It's true even in a medium year as 1994.
Garnet-red with little orange edges. Splendid and high class nose. Coffee, roasted, "cabernet sauvignon" expression in all it's complexity, distinction and nobility.
Yet young but no astringency, no greenness and harshness. Full of complexity, long lenght, beautiful balance. Drink in the following 20 years.
