2002 Bogle Petite Sirah
($9)
(USA / California )

Color: Purple.
Aroma: Vanilla. Plum.
Flavor: Vanilla. Plum. Blackberry.
Profile: Sweet. Smooth Mouthfeel. Extracted Body. Light Moderate Tannin.
An impressive follow-up to the 2001, Bogle's latest petite sirah exhibits similar vanilla, blueberry and plum characteristics. The remaining purple fruit flavors are plush and ripe. This wine, however, is slightly more grape-like than before. Still a great value and something to keep on hand for everyday.
