1989 Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande (France / Bordeaux / Pauillac )   Reviewed by: Wilfried Rated: 95 pts   (Magnum, not blind): Light ruby, good viscosity. Roasted nose, resinous dark fruit. Plump body, massive liquorice (bit too much for my taste), Acidity and tannins very well balanced. Velvety finish, very long. Score: 50 + 4 for optic + 14 for bouquet + 18 for taste + 9 for overall = total score of 95.
