2001 Acacia Pinot Noir - St. Clair Vineyard

Color: Red Purple.
Aroma: Cherry.
Flavor: Dark Fruits. Limestone. Cherry. Blackberry.
Profile: Smooth Mouthfeel. Medium Rich Body. Moderate Heavy Tannin. Medium Finish.
I expected a little more from this one given its price and the good vintage. A moderate bouquet of cherries, with tastes of dark fruits, cherry, blueberry and limestone. The body was fairly rich with a solid tannic backbone. Flavor just came up a bit short.
