Color: Purple.
Aroma: Licorice. Fig. Raisin. Plum. Strawberry. Cherry.
Flavor: Licorice. Plum.
Profile: Crisp Acidity. Unbalanced. Smooth Mouthfeel. Rich Body. Heavy Tannin. Medium Finish.
When first opening this bottle, I could really smell the cherry and plum flavors, with hints of strawberry and fig. When we came back from dinner, the wine in my glass had really opened up and aromas and flavors of raisin and anise arose; the tannins were also softer. I think this wine is a good value, but don't drink yet if you don't like wine with strong tannins.
