Color: Brick Red.
Aroma: Black Currant. Smoky. Cedar.
Flavor: Black Currant. Chocolate. Smoky. Cedar.
Profile: Crisp Acidity. Complex. Balanced. Smooth Mouthfeel. Rich Body. Heavy Tannin. Long Finish.
The 96 Reserve Mondavi Cab is at its peak and should be drunk now. It is in absolute perfect harmony with a rich body and heavy tannin that is now well integrated. Brick red and purple hues lead to cedar, smoke, black currant and chocolate. A mouth coating wine that leaves a long impregnating finish.
