1985 Krug - Clos du Mesnil (France / Champagne )   Reviewed by: rchan Rated: 96 pts   Great mature aromatics but appeared to be a bit tired as the bubbles were not quite as lively as the 1982. Not sure why...but it can be appreciated more like a very well balanced still wine. Either way, it is a very enjoyable wine, classic and elegant, especially it is a treat from a very generous friend.
