1997 Rene Leclerc - Lavaux St. Jacques (France / Burgundy / Cote de Nuits / Gevrey-Chambertin )   Reviewed by: Mrs Rated: 89 pts   I am not too experienced with drinkning Burgundy, but I found this wine to be very nice. The nose immediately brought to mind truffles, followed by a nice fruity, floral character. Bit of spiciness, the wine seemed to be designed for balance, without any particular outstanding character.
