That Parker guy sure knows his stuff. As an amateur reviewer, I'd say this vintage is easily one of the best young CA Cabernets I've ever had. A noseful of berries and licorice set the tone. Each sip revealed another level of richness with flavors that changed in the glass. The finish seemed never to go away completely. Although it's too soon to drink this amazing wine, resisting the temptation (even at $150/bottle) was impossible. After another 10-15 years in storage, this one will still be approaching infinity.
