2001 Goldeneye Pinot Noir
($48)

Color: Ruby.
Aroma: Spice. Clove.
Flavor: Spice. Cherry. Pepper. Mineral.
Profile: Crisp Acidity. Balanced. Lean Voluminous Body. Light Moderate Tannin. Short Finish.
A light translucent ruby colored pinot noir with a pronounced nose of clove and spices. On tasting, this turns out to be a very big pinot noir despite its tame appearance. In the mouth the wine explodes with white pepper, cherry and minerals. Tannins are light to moderate and well integrated. Only downside is that this wine finishes rather
quickly.
