2001 Kongsgaard Chardonnay (USA / California / Napa )   Reviewed by: mxpbuy Rated: 97 pts   If blind tasted, I could have easily picked it as a fine White Burg. The only hint that it was not a White Burg is the little extra Chardonnay fruit forward that first hits your tongue. The finish does go on and on and on (like the battery bunny). It is a very youthful wine and will certainly evolve and become more refined in the years to come, at which time it will easily rival the best White Burgs made.
