Color: Ruby.
Aroma: Clove. Blackberry. Mineral. Alcohol.
Flavor: Dark Fruits. Spice. Mineral. Limestone. Lead. Earthy.
Profile: Crisp Acidity. Balanced. Astringent Mouthfeel. Extracted Body. Moderate Tannin. Medium Finish.
A an excellent value at $15/bottle. The aroma is underwhelming with mild hints of basic minerals. On the palate, this wine presents mild earth and spice against very well balanced minerals of limestone and lead. Those who like astringent and metalic wines will love this Australian Shiraz. Score breakdown: Color: 4/5, Aroma: 10/15, Taste/Finish: 15/20 Quality/Longevity: 7/10
