1999 Hacienda Monasterio - Crianza (Spain / Castilla y Leon / Ribera del Duero )   Reviewed by: Wilfried Rated: 95 pts   (not blind): Black purple, fat tears, tints the glass. Dark berries in the nose, fine. Full to medium body, dense but well balanced: Fruit, acidity and tannins. Long velvety aftertaste. Score: 50 + 5 for optic + 14 for bouquet + 18 for taste + 8 for overall = total score of 95. Rather international style here, but a nice effort with 70% Tempranillo, impressive.
