Well, we are in the word of old wines. 1975 is a good year in the Medoc. It's tannic wines who run through the time.
Here, we had a beautiful wine who is not a overripped wine with overextraction. It's light but deep in the same time.
Garnet color with little signs of evolution. The first nose is a old cellar, wet forest, mushrooms. You can detect Light red fruits .
Tannins are presents but it's not tannic and "astreingent". There is a nice acidity who gives freshness.
Subtil notes and not exuberance in this wine. cerebral wine indeed.
Not to compare to a young wine. It's another world.
Outstanding 30 years old wine.
