2001 Karl Lawrence Cabernet Sauvignon ($45) (USA / California / Napa )   Reviewed by: Mrs Rated: 92 pts   Color: Brick Red. Aroma: Spice. Licorice. Flavor: Dark Fruits. Licorice. Profile: Astringent Mouthfeel. Rich Body. Moderate Heavy Tannin.   This wine was really tannic in the beginning, but some time in the glass works wonders! The spiciness in the nose and on the palate really come out with a bit of fruit. This wine is gorgeous in the glass, with great color and legs. Definitely will improve with a year or two in the bottle.
