2005 Louis Latour - Appellation Meursault ($29) (France / Burgundy / Cote d'Or )   Reviewed by: Pauline Rated: 89 pts   This Chardonnay is especially bright, with a pale yellow colour. It smells like citrus, lemon and apple. Those fruity aromas are related to an oaky odour, with a touch of vanilla, brandy and a little bit of pepper. It is a very attractive nose! In mouth, the attack is lively but not harsh. This attack is exceptionally well balanced with the roundness of the wine. This wine is full in the mouth and brings a great richness. It coat the pallet so we can fell the pleasant long finish. As many Chardonnay, this is a refreshing wine. Very pleasant to drink! Finally this wine is well balanced between its good length, its freshness and its roundness.
