2004 Domaine de Pegau (France / Rhone / Southern Rhone / Chateauneuf du Pape )   Reviewed by: aapalileo Rated: 92 pts   Deep nose, meat juice, smoke. Great acidity. Very complex. Barnyard smell and flavor (for lack of a better term, like horse crap). I know wine described that way would be a turn off, but man, was this a great wine. Perfectly paired with lamb at Je Suis Gourmand. This wine just kept evolving.
