2000 Chateau Leoville Poyferre (France / Bordeaux / St-Julien )   Reviewed by: Wilfried Rated: 95 pts   (double blind): Brilliant medium ruby, fat tears. Nose fine red fruit, silky velvety, bit of alcohol. Medium body, fine red fruit again, bit acidity, very agreeable. Finish long, very fine acidity, ending with smoky tannins. Score: 50 + 4 for optic + 14 for bouquet + 18 for taste + 9 for overall = total score of 95.
